We were welcomed with 45 degrees and rain but are not complaining. It appears we are fortunate and will be missing the coldest weather the Chicago area has seen this winter. Tomorrow the forecast for Tucson is for the mid fifties and will progressively get warmer the rest of the week. The Hotel is two blocks from the airport and was very easy to find. When we checked in they told us the price was over 200% higher then what we were expecting. Our confirmation email had the lower quoted price so they honored it. They told us we were lucky because they are not giving any discounts out due to the gem show. The room is newly remodeled and one of the nicest I have stayed in.. The room has a 42" plasma in it and that saves us from having to search for a place to watch "Da Bears" this super bowl Sunday. That is so fun to say!. Hey...maybe we could design the Bears Super....never mind....I don't want to jinx it. We ordered in pizza and are watching American Idol. Did I mention the 42" plasma?

We are planning on getting to the AGTA exhibit tomorrow at 9:00am and start our "gem hunt". Remember if there is any jewelry you might be in the market for give us a call. Danny-630-251-5621 David 630-989-4712 |
