Yesterday on our flight to Tucson we sat next to a gentleman from Canada who is an amateur pilot.  When we were 5 minutes from landing we went through a cloud and our visibility out the window became zero.  Our new friend told us that it took only 108sec for the average person to get disoriented in a cloud.  I tell you this story because I think it takes only 107 seconds for an ordinary person to get disoriented at the Tucson Gem Show!  Luckily for me Danny is not ordinary and he lead us through the ocean of colors.  We saw some spectacular stones today. One such stones was displayed by a designer friend of ours Michael Couch.  Michael recently acquired the worlds largest clean Tsavorite. This colored stone is 325.13cts.  Below it is pictured next to a jeweler's loop to give you a perspective of its size.

If you would like to see some of Michael's jewelry under $2,000,000 you can go to his website.  We carry Michael's line.

One funny thing that happened today was when we asked for directions.  No, two guys asking for directions is not what is funny.  Everyone wears a name badge that displays the town you are from.  When we asked a women (in her 70's) where a specific booth was, she saw that we were from Geneva.  She then told us she use to live in St. Charles (on Silver Glenn) for 30yrs.  It is a small world.

Thank you for checking in on us and we hope you can check in tomorrow.
